Hi, I'm Marissa!
Associate Therapist

AMFT #154500
Supervised by Megan Becker LMFT #104985
I’m a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (#154500) under the supervision of Megan Becker, LMFT. I work with kids (5+), teens, and young adults navigating anxiety, perfectionism, depression, body image, or self-esteem struggles.

Life can feel overwhelming, especially when your thoughts won’t stop racing or you’re just trying to hold it all together. I create a safe, supportive space where you can feel grounded, understood, and equipped to make meaningful change. I aim to be culturally attuned, honoring the unique identity, background, and experiences that make you, uniquely you. We'll build practical tools to help you move through life's ups and downs with confidence and self-compassion.

My style is warm, direct, and collaborative. I pull from evidence-based methods like CBT, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care, but no two sessions ever look the same. Some days we’ll focus on practical skills; other days we’ll explore the patterns and experiences that influence your present and figure out how to release what’s no longer serving you.
When I’m not in session, you can usually find me in a Barry’s class, perusing a farmers market with friends, at a country music concert, or hanging out with my family (which most definitely includes our dogs).

Education & Training
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of Washington and a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles. My previous experience includes providing individual therapy to adults of all ages at Maple Counseling Center.
