MEGAN BECKER, LMFT
Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist
“It was when I stopped searching for home within others and lifted the foundations of home within myself I found there were no roots more intimate than those between a mind and body that have decided to be whole.”
- Rupi Kaur
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT 104985) working in private practice in West Los Angeles. I earned a Masters in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles and a Bachelors in Theater from Occidental College. Prior to opening my private practice, I gained years of valuable experience working at Monte Nido's Eating Disorder Center of California, one of the leading treatment centers in the country.
I use an integrative approach drawing from Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Attachment Theory and combine them with teaching new coping skills and mindfulness tools to support my clients in finding hope, peace, and healing. I help my clients explore the underlying thoughts & beliefs that may be contributing to feeling stuck in their lives. By helping release from these unhealthy patterns I hope to guide clients to better and more fulfilling lives.
